Printing

First Zipper can provide a wide selection of methods for personalising clothing and giftware.

• Garment printing (clothing) – we offer single or full colour through both ‘wax’ printing (print lays on top of surface, usually non-iron) and ‘sublimation’ printing (where the print impregnates the material rendering it more hardwearing)
• Pad printing (giftware & golf) – this method is used for non-flat surfaces, typically giftware e.g. golf balls, pens, bottle openers, glassware, silverware, lighters, etc.
• Gold Blocking (stationery & leather goods) – single colour applied to flat surfaces, such as folders, diaries, leather goods, etc.

Special Features

Certain garments require special features, for example football shirts with high stretch require logos that will also be able to stretch.  Some need to be washed at high temperature requiring a durable print that will not fade.  Our experience in this field will guide you as to the best method of application.

Re-usable Designs

We can advise and draw up your own design, which would be in PC format and can be used for other purposes.

Complex Detailed Designs

Heat transfers can be made in full colour reproducing complicated designs and small text with great accuracy.  This is ideal where coat of arms and heraldic crests are required.
